Sinterklaas at school

All Primary schools here in Holland have received a visit of Sinterklaas & his BlackPeters today and they surely handed out a little present to every schoolchild ~ as is their good-practise every of year.... I love the excitement on the faces of the children and their young parents :-)

Saint Nicolas has his nameday on December 6th ofcourse, but over the centuries the Dutch shared St. Nicolas presents to their children on the eve prior, so on the eve of December 5th and thus that date and day is celebrated here since long long time as Sinterklaas feast.

A week ago my PC stopped working and luckily a friend managed to get it back in order! So today I could pick it up and have it back in working order again; absolutely a relief coz at present lots of my contacts run via PC
