Third and last fire

A bit closer to the house, out of the chestnut forest and a bit more manageable. These terraces have become our new orchard - le  verger for those who like a bit of French - and the sticks you might just see in the image are some of the eleven fruit trees we have planted here over the last year. 
This time we have added a qulince, two peches and two cherries to our collection. The two in the photo are the cherries.
The chair is a crucial part of the set up as one has to sit and watch the fire die down at the end of the day. Might as well be comfortable......
