Advent Sunday

...and the tree is up at church and it’s our Toy Service Sunday.

The toys here are for the mothers and babies supported by The Lily Trust, a charity supporting young women who have been trafficked and who are no longer wanted because they have become pregnant. The charity provides basic needs for the babies and love and support for the young mothers. These toys will help them give gifts to their children at Christmas.

Such an awful trade. Such awful stories. It breaks God’s heart. Why does this happen? Today, we did a very small bit to bring hope and joy in a desperate situation.
