Inside. looking out.... and forward to...

The weather forecast wasn't good for today. It was correct, but we headed out very much looking forward to a day at Leeds Castle, visiting the castle itself and the Christmas Market and meeting up with Lala and Mr L for the first time since the Concert in the summer. 

The castle was, as ever, magnificent, decorated for Christmas and every room looked just so beautiful and inviting, full of history. 

Then to visit the market with our friends. Only we didn't. Our timings got mixed up and I had missed phone calls and messages from them trying to make contact, and rather than get any more drenched and cold, they decided to go home. I was so sorry.....  .I am so sorry....

We enjoyed the market and the crafts for sale, and some mulled wine, then headed back to the car for the journey home. The rain eased off slightly and it always seems to take less time going towards home. Big Sis came with us today and it was her first visit to the castle. I have heard from her..."What a fantastic day! What a beautiful castle!" 

And we will meet with Lala and Mr L again, as soon as we can.
