Frosty Start

It was a cold morning, although sunny. It was a bit of a challenge getting to church. The road in from the south - which I take, was shut. A new house is being built at the south side of the village, and today they were putting in the pipes for water / sewage etc..., digging up the road to do it. So I drove round to the north side. 
We had a christening in church, and the building was full of preschool children, which was adorable. Yes it was noisy, but so nice to see and hear them. 
Came back and did the weekly supermarket shop. Now having a sit down and bite of lunch before starting on the ironing...
