Life from city to village

Kitchen

So I was up at about 6:30am, and started work on the kitchen. Old broken gadgets were hauled out, surfaces cleaned, cupboards sorted, and the worktops oiled. My parents came late morning, and loaded the car with things for the tip, and for the charity shop (some tidying done then in the garage and by the bookcase), then lunch, before back to the work on the kitchen. Gone is the cluttered look. Now, only those things used regularly or which wont' fit into a cupboard are out. I could probably do with getting a bread bin as well to put the fresh bread into.  Oh, and I made some muffins.  It has been a long day, but very worthwhile. I love how the freshly oiled worktops look.
