A view from the gate

My view of the garden as I step through our gate. So colourful at the moment, but it wont be long before the leaves drop. 
We did have a beautiful white bark birch that blocked off the view of next doors house, but weve had to have it removed.. it never produced any leaves this year and when we checked it was completely  dead. Think it must have been the effect of such a very hot dry summer last year .
