Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 138
Two "dookers" were in the sea again this morning as I ran along the surf. The weather front that brought the overnight snow, sleet and rain was clearing the coast as I ran. This view is looking west towards Fife and the distant Forth Valley. I normally associate sunsets with this vista. The view to the east, behind me was thick dark cloud taking the well advertised snow through the borders and into Northumbria. The beach at low tide is an enormous expanse and a great place to begin the day and the working week. The island of Inchekeith can be seen like a ghostly silhouette of a Rosythbound Battle Cruiser from WWII when these roads were full of Britain's capital warships.
