Family

We headed to the Trafford Centre this morning as we had booked to take the girls to see Santa. It was the perfect winters day, very frosty and blue skies.

It’s was really busy and the car parks were full so Alan dropped me off near Santa’s grotto, and Scott did the same with Rach and the girls, and then went to park. Scott joined us but Alan went to John Lewis to buy our new TV, which ended up being reduced thanks to the Black Friday sale.

We met up with Alan for lunch at Carluccios, and after we’d eaten, the girls wanted to go on the carousel and the ferris wheel. Scott wanted to go to John Lewis to get some Sonos speakers which were also reduced, so the boys went back there while we took the girls on the rides, but before they left us we had a family selfie. I’ve added the photo with Santa to my extras - it’s a photo of the photo Rachel bought.

When we met back up, Rach, Scott and the girls headed home, but Alan and I went for a wander round the shops and I ended up buying an iPhone XR - also from John Lewis. My contract ended a couple of months ago and I’ve been contemplating upgrading but didn’t want to pay a high monthly fee. Anyway the phone in John Lewis was actually £80 cheaper than in Apple so I decided to get it, but will put my Christmas money towards it, and I’ll sell my iPhone 7.

Scarlett’s had a dance show tonight, so I went with Rach to watch her while the boys stayed at home with Violet, and we all had pizza when we got home. I’m now in the process of setting up my new phone but it’s taking some time and it’s now after midnight so I think I’ll leave it where it is and carry on tomorrow!
