Mallards Pike

This was the location of today’s Middle Distance Orienteering. Lots of controls in a relatively short distance. As can be seen from this photo there was a lot of surface water (the area to the left of the lakeside path should be dry!)

Good to be back orienteering in woodland for  a change and good practice for a longer course tomorrow. Following the orienteering we had a wander around the lake. We also enjoyed a walk around Ross on Wye.
