Toe tourniquet

Today we went to the park (so cold but melody didn't seem to notice) then shop then to mikes dads for a visit. Melody loves it there and plays with her Noah's ark (other theories are available I told her)
Then home for nap and Sunday dinner - melody loves her roast! (Not that I do it that often) but I don't know if she actually likes it all or is responding to the inevitable delay..
Then we had a bath and after dinner I noticed her toe was red - closer inspection showed a hair really really tightly wrapped round like cheese wire - constricting blood and had cut thro - she wouldn't let us touch it - so we waited til she was asleep and then attacked it with 'nair' hair remover cream and blunt end of needle - we got it off (we think - its so deep it's hard to tell) and it didn't look constricted - still worried tho as by this time I'd consulted dr google and discovered its called a toe tourniquet and can cause amputation - horrified - rand Derriford hospital and eventually told it would be ok if not constricted - we will keep an eye on it obv - but not the evening we had planned -scary :(
