Steve

A mono (candid) portrait of Cathy's brother Steve taken earlier this evening.  They have come to visit to help me celebrate my birthday a few weeks early :-)

I visited Dad in the care home today.  He's quite a stoic, so it is far from easy to work out what is going on in his mind.  He seems tolerably happy at the moment.  The care  home itself seems to be pretty good, as care homes go.  There are certainly much worse places to have to end one's days.  I'm just not convinced that Dad is ether ready or wants to be ready for that environment as yet.
