Ways to Say Goodbye

This isn't a farewell to blip, so those two or three of you who read my blips needn't worry!

We went to Compton Verney today. We wanted to finish seeing the Magnum Manifesto photo exhibition which we didn't quite complete last time we were there, the show being very comprehensive and takes a lot of viewing…..but is very good.

We also visited the Ariel Schlesinger exhibition in one of the galleries.  From the window I could see the external installation, Ways to Say Goodbye (don't ask!) Which is an aluminium tree with large glass shards in the branches.

The picture is of the same with The Clearing, another installation, on the other side of the lake.

It was a dull, dreary, drizzly day, not a good light for taking photos, but I did manage some shots and Ann picked this one as the best one.
