The Herston Lass

Caught the early boat to Flotta. Today it was the Herston Lass. The lights were switched off in the cabin. I wonder if this is a policy to gently ease the oil terminal workers into their day? Or was there a fault?

Either way, I found it a bit disconcerting and for me, it made it all too easy to drift back to sleep.

A full day of work, then the happy tappers in the evening. The full class of 8 were there tonight and we had a run-through of our Christmas routine!!
