Back on the land

This tractor was back on the land with wheels spinning in the mud just about managing to pull the plough through the wet ground. It will no doubt deposit its load of mud on the road afterwards. Washing the car at this time off the year is a waste of time as after the first journey it is filthy again. However, this is a small price to pay for food on the table. I went into the shop to help out this morning and called in to my colleague's workshop to collect a tiny barrel into which he had fitted a new spring.  I reassembled the small lantern clock in the afternoon with some difficulty only to find the spring is not fitted correctly and is slipping.  The clock will all have to come apart again!
