Dreich (Day 1664)

I arrived at my job for the day at the same time as thick drizzle swept in. The customer remarked that it wasn't too bad a day. Which was a bit odd.
I had prepared myself for a lot of hanging around waiting  for the hot water cylinder to drain out so I could remove it and fit a new one, but it finished draining as I finished getting the new cylinder ready to go in. I was in the van and heading home again in less than three hours.
With the invoicing out of the way, I had lunch with  my beautiful wife before we took the woofers out to Lyde for a wander. I took the sensible option of wearing all of my waterproof gear meaning that the rain stopped as soon as we got out of the car and stayed off for the duration of our walk. I was too warm by the time we got back to the car.
We finished off the day with a trip to town to collect som bits and bobs.
