Smart machines

This one will follow your hand around and wander about avoiding things.  It’s legs are fragile and I’ve spent a little time repairing one of them.
Speaking of smart machines.  Our car has been telling us that it needs a service.  It has been doing that since shortly after the last service.  I popped into the garage who told it had not been reset.  The way to do it is (a) switch the ignition on but do not start the car; (b) press the accelerator all the way down at the same time as (c) press the brake hard.  Of course, I should have known.  Not.
