Stir Up

I kicked up a fuss when I was told that there wasn't going to be a home made Christmas cake this year. So Mrs S relented and made one today. It's  Stir Up Sunday and so a wish was made as the mixture was churned around in the bowl. 

The wonderful smell of orange and lemon zest went all through the house. And now we have the aroma of a fruit cake sitting there cooling down in the kitchen.
