Barn

It was bright and sunny when we got back from Meeting at lunchtime so we went out for a brisk walk to Grantchester. On the very edge of Trumpington, on the road to Grantchester, lies this huge barn.

The roof seems in perfect condition, but the rest of it looks far from maintained.

By the time we got to Grantchester itself and the river the light was too far gone for much other than tree silhouettes.

Inspired by Hedgehog's blip I've been out sawing some firewood with a view to having a fire tonight. We kept the one fireplace to just enjoy the occasional open fire. With just 'the occasional fire' we're pretty much self sufficient in fuel from prunings from the garden, albeit taking down the occasional tree helps.
