A Dairy - with a Difference

Fans of The Archers (BBC Radio 4) will be familiar with the breed of Montbeliarde cows recently acquired by Bridge Farm.  Whilst on holiday in Suffolk we discovered that Fen Farm Dairy at Bungay had an award winning herd of this breed.
On our way home we called in to buy cheese, milk and butter.  With it being November the cows were indoors munching contentedly away.
Outside the cow sheds we found the 'Cow-Print shed' (extra 1) - inside we  found a quite remarkable high-tech machine that is the UKs first raw milk vending machine! (extra 2).
Cheese, butter, eggs - and even meat - could be bought via other vending machines in the shed.
It did seem a bit impersonal, but rather clever.  After a short learning curve, we got the hang of it and completed our purchases before continuing our journey.
