The Middleton Cowboy

This life size sculpture by Paul Richardson stands on the Leiston Road close to the village of Middleton in Suffolk
It honours the cowboy John Middleton (1854-1885) who was a friend of Billy the Kid.
The sculptor lives nearby and decided it was a good idea because of the link in the name - 'Middleton' - no other reason.
Another day when the rain has passed us by - we've not see a drop since we arrived - not bad for November.
