And We’re Off

A slow morning for Clare and I as we waited for the clock to come round to our early afternoon departure but eventually we left by taxi for the station, Falmouth to Truro.
We had a fifteen minute wait at Truro before boarding our First Class reserved seats to London Paddington being plied with free hot drinks and snacks all the way.

Samantha was waiting for us on Paddington station and we headed off on a cold and wet London evening right out to the east of the city, to Beckton. Booked in to our Premiere Inn we tried to find something to eat but sadly at 10:00pm in that part of London it was McDonalds.

Great to see and be with Samantha and looking forward to tomorrow.
