Golden Tunnel

It was a gorgeous sunny and warm autumnal day today and I was desperate for a walk. I was waiting for the flooring guys to come and when I finally got a call to say they were an hour away, I raced down to the lake and enjoyed a quick walk before they arrived. The trees are still vibrant but I feel like any day all the remaining leaves are going to drop. I love autumn walks but we’ve had such wet weather this year I’ve not enjoyed as many as usual.

I love the tunnel effect of these trees. I don’t really notice it so much when the leaves are green. The light must have been just right today.

I know people will ask what my new floor looks like so I’ve included an extra photo. I hope I’ll be happy with that stripe! I liked it in the catalogue!
