Hay
I visited a local farm this afternoon. The farmer kindly let me have some wet hay from the fallen bales outside of the stack.
I want some on hand to use as brown matter for my compost. I filled a couple of plastic bins. I think I'll need to have a ubiquitous blue tarpaulin to cover it with beside the vege garden.
My exercise instructor mate showed no mercy this morning. Spin was particularly brutal and I wasn't sure how I'd get through pump. I'm a fairly determined character and I have the added incentive that pump is good for my bones.
A combination of pump and medication has helped my bone density improve between 2% and 7% over the past 2 years. My next scan is 3 years away. Up until now they've been 2 yearly. So I push on with pump.
I have an indoor project for a few weeks. In theory it's restricted to the small third room but the reality is different.
Today's gratitude: For a cup of coffee on the sofa with my book.
