Brief Encounter
Just as we were walking from the 4th green to the 5th tee the sun came out momentarily for the only time in the whole round as witnessed in the main blip.
The extra of the 13th green is more representative of the grey, raw cold we played most of the round in. Coincidentally, it was from this point on that I managed to hit my tee shots out of bounds at the next three holes and spoil a promising round.
The good news was that I managed to swing the club a lot more easily today.
I don't think Sophie stopped talking from the moment she came out of school this afternoon until she said goodnight when we put her to bed. She was in fine, entertaining form.
She read us all of her second reading book before bedtime. She's being taught to sound out each letter phonetically then say the whole word, then the whole sentence and is getting the hang of it very well
