Red sycamore leaf

There are definitely more leaves on the ground than there are left on the trees. This bright red sycamore leaf caught my eye on my walk to work across the Meadows this morning.

Today's meeting count should have been eight, but I sent apologies to one. On the basis of reports of the meeting that I missed, I'm glad that I did not attend. At this time of year we are all feeling very overworked.

At the end of the (normal) working day Melissa called in to pick up my noise-reducing headphones. She's borrowing them to test them out on a flight to the US for Thanksgiving. If she likes them, she will buy a pair of her own.
