Right To The Top

Today was day 1 of the training/conference/pep rally that I attended in Chicago, along with 700 of my Flight Attendant colleagues. They’ve done over 30 of these events this year and this was the second to last. We’re a very large workgroup!

The day was surprisingly enjoyable, consisting of - a breakfast buffet for 700, Ted-style Talks from leaders of various departments, a plated lunch, a couple of seminars, and finished off with a hot buffet reception with a DJ and dancing (of which I was a non-participant!).

Our CEO, Oscar Munoz, was there a couple of times during the day, mainly presenting from the front, and was also available for questions during the reception. I had a couple of questions/comments - nothing better than taking them right to the top!
