Cold as Mice

The temperature plummeted last night, and because there was a lot of standing water from all the recent rain, there was a lot of ice on the road. By the sound of it, there were a number of accidents locally and disruption to transport. I was glad I hadn't planned to go out - I had some preparation to do for our Fungi Night on Thursday, and a delivery to wait in for. The talcum showed that the garden wood mice were very active and spent a lot of time retrieving the peanuts I'd put out, and presumably caching them for future use.
