Memorial

It seems fitting to choose this small section of the 58,282 deceased soldiers honored on the Vietnam Memorial who died during the conflict given that my daughter just visited there and that her dad served there for a year on the heels of our young marriage.

We walked the mall from Washington monument to Capitol to Washington monument to Lincoln memorial to Washington monument. All the structures for the coming inauguration are going up. Lots of fun to be back here when you can get out and refresh memories heading west tomorrow! Back in April for dad's internment at Arlington memorial.
