All lit up

Backblip, Lovely light as the sun-rose this morning . I sat outside with just the sound of the birds. It was cold and frosty so had to wear quite a few layers. skeins of geese honked their way overhead. Lots of goldfinches around at the moment too looking very colourful against the backdrop of the golden oak leaves. I spotted a buzzard fly up from the field and perch on one of the fence posts.
Katherine came up in the morning with the things that our Brownie unit are making for the Christmas Party. She came in for a cup of coffee and a natter.
In the evening I was going to walk down to the Cathedral as there was a special event ran by Groam house museum ,Unravelling the Celtic Knot, based on a Celtic embroidery design from the George Bain collection with animation and dance. It was really icy and dark so decided to watch it from the decking instead.I had to stand on a little stool to be able to see properly but was then able to see the whole cathedral lit up with colourful moving images. It was very impressive. Not sure how many people new about it as most people I spoke to had no idea it was on. They are hoping to do some more events like this.
