New Kit

I was encouraged strongly, recently, by a managing director of a leading UK fitness business to get a heart rate monitor so that when Dd and I are out for our long meanderings we might raise our heart rates a little for a twenty minute period. He gave me the target heart beat level which given our age is not that high but still useful. So, welcome to these Fitbits which are pretty functional (value for money) but that's what we want. They will be debut-ed in December when we have a wee break!

We've been caught up in a listeria-infected product recall by Aldi . . . we ate a whole pack of the infected blinis two nights ago. We are not in the high risk groups so all should be ok, although we may see a doctor tomorrow. It was enough for us to cancel a party we were due to host tonight as we were a little distracted.
