Dash

Had planned to meet one of my friends to go walking last weekend, but had to cancel due to illness. With my cold clearing up, we were able to meet up today instead.

The Carnegie Library in Dunfermline was our rendezvous point and, once we had spent an appropriate amount of time on coffee and catch-up, we set off on our walk down to Limekilns.

The early part of our walk took us into Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline and we were taken aback by a large number of people in Santa Claus outfits jogging along the paths on all sides. Turns out that today was the annual Santa Dash, organised as a fundraiser by the local Rotary Club.

Once in Limekilns we stopped for a bar lunch and a wee wander around before catching a bus back to Dunfermline and making our separate ways home.
