I came home from Sue's today. She has both her kids there now - Samantha and Phil and Sam's fiance Paul. We had a pleasant week considering the circumstances but I think it's time for them to be on their own now until they can arrange Tony's funeral. They're waiting for results of the post mortem before they can do that.
Phil will be staying till after Christmas which will be nice for Sue and Sam.
I asked Sue for some cuttings of some houseplants. She thinks the Travelling Sailor might be a descendant of the one that was in my (first) wedding bouquet 43 years ago! I don't know what the red and green stripey one is but the leaves are really shimmery. The one in the pot is a money plant. If you give one to someone it is meant bring them good fortune.
I'm not that good with houseplants (I forget to water them) which is strange as I am a really good outdoor gardener, especially veg.
I might put these on the boat as they might draw some moisture from the air and prevent any damp and may even have a better chance of survival!
