A bit wet

Got back from hairdressers and getting on with Christmas plan when hubby noticed water coming through from next door so ran upstairs to check out from bedroom window. Three gardens already flooded and heading our way. Within an hour it was flowing round our house and unfortunately into the basement via the air vents. No electrics in back of house, washing partway through cycle and fridge off.
Sandbags in place and it has stopped raining. It is still flowing through the garage and round the side of the house but we have been lucky and it has not come into the house, other than basement.
I am feeling rather pleased with the hair, I can no longer put it in a bun.
