Green and gold
It rained all night. Yah !
So, the day of the BIG game, started with "english" weather ? A sign of things to come ?
I decided, I should blip, the flag display, at the local dive shop, to record the occasion, but to be honest, couldn't care less.
Although, I did have my patriotic funny bone tickled, at the gym.
The music in the pump class, was VERY LOCAL.
The bokke were playing the All blacks and Oom Piet was driving in his pick up truck. Terry made the class magical, with her hand picked, musical selection.
The pump class was packed. Zumba, not so much.
The 10 o'clock end to the class, was clearly too close, to the 11 o'clock kick off, for lot's of folks.
I was just pulling up to the gate, in Springs, at 11 o'clock.
And, was having a much needed hair cut, an hour later. Well, the appointment was for 12 o'clock, the actual hair cut, materialized closer to one o'clock. Eish ! Time management is NOT something Colleen does well.
Anyway............ the events on the rugby field, could be followed by the noises, coming from the pub next door.
There was lots of cheering.
By the time, my hair was cut............... the game was over.
South Africa had won.
Yah !
Next, we completed the Saturday grocery shop and then it was home time. Home was not so pleasant. There was a raucous rugby party going on, next door. It continued until the wee hours of the morning.
Thank goodness for ear plugs !
