The Joy of X

On New Year's Day 2019, my friends with whom I share dinner that day and I started discussing our 'Secret Santa' thoughts for this year. Each year our ideas get more and more madcap, but we think we've overdone it this time.

We (there are ten of us participating) decided that we should each send an identical item (or a collection of items as some seem to have done) to each of the others. A similar item would be kept by the sender. So, by the first deadline date, each of us would have the same ten items.

We have then to create something using all of these items and send it to our 'Secret Santa' recipient by 15th December. We're allowed to add other items, as well as cut, paint, remodel, etc the items we received. On New Year's Day 2020 the creations will be 'judged' and we'll all also have a good laugh at trying to guess the creator of each completed model.

Bits and pieces have arrived in the post over the last week or two and, finally after a wait of several days, the tenth and final piece arrived in the post today. So today's Blip is of the raw materials from which I have to create a 'gift' to send to my Secret Santa recipient. Help ma boab! (to use a particular Scottish expression)

A plastic snake
A piece of plastic piping and foot for a radiator
A Christmas paper plate
A sleigh bell
Two toothbrushes (two people each sent one)
Six lollipop sticks
Seven pompoms
Five kirby grips
A pair of plastic pliers

Anyone have a phone number for Bob the Builder?
