I've been meaning to visit this Andy Scott sculpture for some time, and also at a time when it was displaying a red poppy for Remembrance Day.

Having spent some time playing catch-up on my computer this morning, I took a trip along the M8 this afternoon, just in time to find the low winter sun directly behind the object in question. C'est la vie!

However, I took quite a few photos with my compact camera, using a number of different settings and then deleting the photos I didn't want when I got back home. Thankfully I still had some from which to pick my Blip for the day.
