West Lomond path

West Lomond is just high enough to be interesting, but very easy to walk from the Craigmead car park. We chose a modest walk for today, thinking we would get light rain or snow. In the event, it stayed dry with a few very brief appearances from the sun.

This view shows East Lomond in the distance. Like West Lomond it is an ancient volcanic plug. At one point we could also see Largo Law, the Bass Rock and Berwick Law, all created in the same way.
