Can I sit on your lap please mum?

It has been a long tiring day, and I have a horrible headache, and cough cold that is worse than it was yesterday. With almost no voice now, it has to be an early night and perhaps a day in bed tomorrow if I don’t feel any better.

Got home to find mum and dad are still here. I won’t go into details, but dad tripped over in the petrol station, and after being checked over was eventually allowed to come back home, given the all clear, just a bit bruised. But the shock of the fall obviously had some physical affect, so it put their drive back to Hoddesdon back by a day. I’ve been in the check on them both, and he insists he is ok to drive tomorrow.
