Layer of lapwings.

Bit of a back up blip as my tiny tuesday choice had vanished. 
I'm told these are lapwings but I wasn't sure if they were perhaps black backed gulls.
I was pleased that I saw a kingfisher in flight and even got a pic. but it was quite blurred. The only one I'd previously seen belongs to first born; it's in a glass case and originally belonged to someone else (!)
