Rosemary

Rosemary is for remembrance, and this was on my desk when I arrived in work this morning. Today it is the 8th anniversary of my sister’s death, and when my friend at the time, Kathy, heard the news she took herself in hand and examined her breasts. She discovered a lump. She underwent the subsequent treatments and hers was treatable. She recovered, and despite us not being as close as we once were, for reasons that don’t need to be aired, she never forgets. She always remembers the date, and always acknowledges it. I am deeply grateful for that.
