Memories
Some years the date passes easily, others not so. I’ve no idea why, but it seems to be the same for others this year.
I messaged with Max, George, Rory and Peter this morning. In the nine years that she’s been gone, the boys have passed GCSEs, A Levels, University degrees and are both now working in great jobs. Max received his headship and turned the school around; evidenced Here, a virtual tour for parents of prospective new pupils as show rounds are not allowed under COVID restrictions. So many achievements and milestones, and yet it still only seems like yesterday that I got that call.
I’ve received messages, emails and cards from family, friends and friends of hers today. The photo is of us 3 siblings around 35 years ago, with an inset of the card from Sue.
