Eye Popping

On a wet day amidst the dark of the trees down in the valley, bright yellow leaves on a couple of maples (I think) really stood out for me. I used the branch above me to frame the trees below whilst other limbs lead down to them.

Considering it's hand held at a fairly low shutter speed, I was surprised how sharp I managed to get it. The colours were quite striking in person and I made my best attempt at conveying that impression.
