Abandoned

The head from an old spade caught my eye sitting on a concrete drain amongst the dead grass, abandoned to its fate. I don't know why I find this type of thing interesting, perhaps just the colour and texture. I'm sure spade design doesn't change all that much and a new one much the same could still be purchased. I think it was just the surprise of finding it there.

Edit: I decided to lift the exposure a touch, it looked a bit dark when I reviewed it on blip. I find it difficult to judge when editing in low light.
