when life gives you lemons...

I was on drinks and cakes at work today and everybody wanted milk in their tea..so I brought the lemon home and here is a slice gracing a cup of Bouquet Royale tea from John Watt in Carlisle - I love that shop so much!

A gift of a day today..cycling into work with then sun just rising and melting the light frost. Season of winter gloves and bike lights..cycled home again in the gloaming to find D busy making the tea. We had Waldorf salad, roast sweet potatoes with a cauliflower and broccoli stew, apple crumble (life has also given us a lot of apples!).

We have a drumming gig tomorrow in Dumfries, playing for the Kilt Walk, a charity event in Dock Park. Some of our new members who came along to the workshops will be joining us for the first time. Let's hope the weather stays dry. Have a good weekend, everybody!
