Sophie On Parade

After we'd dropped Sophie off at school and treated ourselves to a cafe breakfast of omelettes, we headed for a walk along the South West Coast Path from Kilve towards Hinkley Point.

We were back at school in time to watch the carnival fancy dress parade. As promised, here's Sophie enjoying being Numberblock 2.

It was lovely to see the young students (and staff!) having such fun in an impressive array of home-made costumes; a lot of effort had gone into them and a lot of parents and grandparents turned up to support them.

After the parade the children were allowed to go home a bit early and we stopped off at the park where Sophie had fun playing with some of her friends.
