My Very Own....

....yes indeedy, picked from our paddock!!
Before we shifted we moved a few things from the garden, some have survived, some not. This is a survivor and the one and only bud. I picked this a couple of days ago, it has blossomed into something rather interesting and beautiful, particularily like the wonky petals. Taken against our white walls with natural light.

It is a scorcher again today, with scrub fires still a problem in Canterbury.

Sorted all our books this morning, a bit of a mish but now done, book case filled and two large cartons full for the book fair in May. Kids games and jigsaws packed away in an cool old wooden box that Janelle emptied of her university papers when she was here....(most hit the bin).

Doug out in that heat making our mail box, no wonder he has a headache!!!

Watched the final of the tennis this avi...David Ferrer won - he is a fitness machine. Next week the Ozzie open - retiring has some bonus's.
