The flip side ....

.... of being surrounded by wonderful autum foliage is having to pick up all the leaves which make their way into the garden.

This afternoon I made a (small) start in doing just that - hopefully they will eventually break down and turn into mulch. We'll see. 

Gardening Evening Class tonight where I will learn more about other tasks I should be doing over the autumn/winter (and in today's other news the first flurries of snow were spotted at Drumochter today !)
