Night time manoeuvres in the M&S car park. We’d driven over wet and muddy rural roads, and the back of the car was quite grubby.

I welcome the all-round parking sensors and good quality camera technology on my car (and recent ones) - changed days since I started driving in the 1970s. My first car didn’t even have a rear screen heater, wiper or reversing lights.

Tired this evening. Lots of talking and driving today. I was out with a friend for a coffee this morning; he’s been in hospital. NHS Scotland were excellent again by all accounts. Good to catch up, we’ll pop out next week again.
