Autumn colours overhead.

A wet walk; most of the time was head down, navigating puddles and hiding below my umbrella. I stopped under one of the trees during a squally few minutes, and grabbed this image of the tree canopy - a bit blurry because of the breeze.

Home via the Bank. I paid in an old paper £10 note that I discovered in a drawer the other day. It’s one of over 200 million paper notes still not surrendered according to Bank information; paper £10 ones were withdrawn 18 months ago, £5 ones over two years ago - all replaced by polymer notes.

New polymer Bank of England £20 notes come into circulation on 20.02.2020...... the Scottish Banks will follow afterwards.
